Re: CE-ESR 52.5.1

Looks like it was an extremely brief release such that they skipped the release notes. It definitely did exist as we had it downloaded for other OSes. Weird. I wonder if they actually rescinded it. I'd gladly pay DP for faster releases if that was an option. The MSIs are an extremely valuable service.

Default app method and Windows10

Introduced with an update around the November Windows10 update, MS now checks for "malware" having "corrupted" registry entries to do things like setting default apps. In other words, the old way that many apps, including FF CE used, don't work. And, MS now helpfully will reset, ...

Google Custom Search in ESR45.2 CE ?

Hi. We just upgraded to 45.2.0 CE ESR (were at 38.x before). While the default search engine is still Yahoo, if one selects Google from the search drop bar, instead of getting the regular Google search, one gets this "Google custom search", now. Is this intentional? I seem to recall this b...

Setting flash as click to play

With the community edition and the adm/admx, is there a way I can set the flash plugin (any version) to be a "click to play" plugin/extension?

Thanks.

Re: 10.0.2 and search providers

I would certainly be willing to pay some amount of money for a version of the Firefox 10 ESR Community Edition (we need the group policy managability) that does not have the search provider set, so that we don't have to edit this with each deployment.
