Re: Lock the firefox settings(like proxy settings)
You can set those using either mozilla.adm or firefox.adm. Import those into your MMC. Some of the simple GUI settings are in firefox.adm, and the "about:config" stuff is in mozilla.adm.

Re: Save Bookmarks through GPO, Win7, how?
Question regarding files locations. How is that pushed to the clients if and different random profile folder is created for each user? Don't be afraid to talk down to me, hehe. I would love to get this working in our environment. I just don't get how those get mapped.

Re: Save Bookmarks through GPO, Win7, how?
Don't think you can as they're stored in database, but I could be wrong. You would have to push out through IE, then import into Firefox. We use RSS feeds to do bookmarks in Firefox. Just have them navigate to page with different sets of RSS feeds for different groups. Not the most elegant solution ...

Re: Cannot open tabs in Firefox CE 9
I use mainly 64-bit machines, and I don't disable IPv6, so that's probably why I've not seen that.

Re: Cannot open tabs in Firefox CE 9
I have seen people talk about this even with regular Firefox, but I haven't seen it with any of the CE builds.

Re: Secure site issue with self-signed certs
Rolling back to 8.0.1 has fixed it for us. I use ZENworks, so I just rolled back the installation package and it installed 8.0.1. with no issues. Not sure how to do that in AD environment easily, assuming that is what your are using. This first appeared in 6.0.1 and then then fixed in 7.0.1 and 8.0....

Re: What version do I download?
I recommend 8.0.1 if you use sites with self-signed certs, or RSS feeds. We've had major issues with 9.0.1 in that regard. 3.x has also worked fine for us, though. We still use it on some machines as they are on a different version of ZENworks, and I stopped updating apps on it until we get moved co...

Re: Group Policies not applying to FF 8.x & 9.x
On a side note, you might stick with 8.0.1 for a bit. 9.0.1 has issues with self-signed certs, and when clicking on an RSS feed, it will not be imported correctly.
This hasn't happened to me on all machines, but a vast majority. Out of 250 machines, I'd say 90 percent of them. 7.0.1 is fine also.

Re: Secure site issue with self-signed certs
Any idea on when this will be fixed? Do we have to wait for next version of Frontmotion or can another build be posted? This is turning into a bigger deal than I thought since I can't figure out a way to push out the exceptions to all users. Would rolling back to 8.0.1 be my best option at this point?

In the Packager, how often is that build updated from the nightly builds?

Re: Secure site issue with self-signed certs
As a temporary workaround, I tried copying the key3.db, cer8.db, and the cert-override.txt files to another profile and that work for that profile just fine. Is there a way to copy files into the Firefox profile directories for every user? I can also add them manually, but if I could push to user's ...

Secure site issue with self-signed certs
I'm now having the same problems I did with v6 of Frontmotion. It was fixed and working in version 7 and 8, but is now broken again. I get "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded" for any site that is using self-signed certs. We have several on-site and cannot access these servers unless I add ex...

Adding RSS Feeds
I had this problem with V6, and then it was fixed in V7 and worked fine in V8 also. Now with V9, I can't click an RSS link and subscribe to it. It asks me what I want to use to open it. If I pick Firefox, it just opens another tab and download dialog. Any idea of how to fix? This is Frontmotion 9.0.1.

Re: url is not valid and cannot be loaded Firefox CE 6.0.2
It's working correctly again in Firefox CE 7.0.1. Just FYI, we also had an issue with RSS feeds in CE6.0.2, also, but that is working now again in CE7.0.1.
Thanks!
