Re: 10.0.2 and search providers
I would certainly be willing to pay some amount of money for a version of the Firefox 10 ESR Community Edition (we need the group policy managability) that does not have the search provider set, so that we don't have to edit this with each deployment. Your work is well appreciated and you provide a ...

Disabling Plug-Ins (specifically java) via Group Policy
With the community edition of Firefox (in our case, 10 ESR) along with the adm templates for group policy, can one disable plugins that might be installed? For example, with the newly announced CERT vulernability on the Java 7 plug-in, I'd like to disable that temporarily.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: No desktop icon on win7-64bit
So, basically the MSI is missing the shell extensions for 64-bit. I added a component to my MSI, and with a couple of side effects (such as no start menu folder, now), I get a desktop shortcut.

Re: No desktop icon on win7-64bit
Good to know. So, Microsoft would appear to have "fixed" something that keeps the shell extension from working on Win7/64 .
It would also be nice to have the option to have the firefox icon pinned to the task bar as part of the msi install.
thanks.

Re: No desktop icon on win7-64bit
Hello? Comments from the packager?
I've tried mucking around a bit with the Shortcut table in the MSI so far, but no go. It looks like there's some sort of funky scripting/registry magic used to add the desktop shortcut?

Nothing. Firefox is not on the desktop at all.
One has to hunt for Firefox under Start -> All Programs

Faster access to FirefoxCE downloads?
With the new versions of firefox usually patching major security holes, is there any service we can subscribe to with Frontmotion to get faster builds (like within 2 or 3 days of the mozilla.com release)? Waiting 3 or 4 weeks is just... not good.
thanks.
thanks.

Cross Domain Logins not working
Hi. I recently downloaded and tried out FrontMotion Login. We are setup w. Active Directory with AD users doing cross domain auth via their MIT kerberos identities. The cross domain logins didn't work... authentication always failed. Any thoughts? By supporting fast user switching, I think this prod...
