Here are the 3.6.18 files. If there's no issues, i'll move them to their normal place and send out an annoucement.

Flash isn't in the package anymore. The Flash plugin is about 5Megs uncompressed.

Would you be able to release this soon? We are not ready to move to FF4/5 yet.

The "pre-release" files have actually been released, you can go ahead and download them right from that link. There haven't been any complaints so either nobody is testing or it works fine. :)

For a project and user community of this size, I don't think a formal "field testing" cycle will work. I suspect FrontMotion/DraconPern would be better off just releasing after their testing. If problems are found, fix and release an update (3.6.18.1 or whatever). A "pre-release" or "beta" label just gives people fear and reduces the uptake rate, thus actually reducing testing. If a given site/user wants more testing than FrontMotion can give, they are free to (1) wait a while after release and see if anyone complains and/or (2) do their own testing in-house. There's no law that says you *MUST* install 3.6.18.0 to all your PCs the day it's released.

That's my opinion, of course. Others are free to disagree. :)
