As 'official' as anything can be from a fake company

It works good on my end, and that all I was after. But there seems a lack in themes for this program, so I figured Id post it for kicks. Maybe someone would like it.

I was going to implement a sort of uptime count for this, using SharedObjects, but the timestamp conversion was just too complex for something this trivial. Yeah whatever

Enjoy. http://symmeclept.f2o.org/sycons.zip

Hey, Great logon champ.

Is there any possibility of a light coloured version of the theme?
Or could I please have the .fla so that I can edit it for personal use.

Thanks in advance.
Osiris.

I appreciate the feedback. I really do. :)
Im working on an update, but time is not on my side. User selection menu, possibly logon pictures, are coming. Things are planned for SyCons, I just cant promise any dates. But nevertheless, an update is coming.

Once again, I appreciate the feedback.

how to initiate logon withj sysconns ?

Post by friedje » Fri Apr 01, 2005 4:02 am

Hi there, when I use the sysconns login theme, it doesn't do nothing except showing me the animation turning. then when i put my fingers on the keyboard and do a swipe across pushing as may buttons as possible it gives me the login animation, but not when i try any key combination in a more normal way.

What can be wrong ?

for the rest i really like this theme.
too bad there are not more coming.

greets

Well, here we are. I honestly did plan to update and work on this thing, but I just havent had the time. The amount of downloads and feedback has been surprising, to say the least. Im glad someone enjoys my work

Ive decided, after much procrastination, to release the source. Maybe someone can finish what I couldnt and hopefully more people learn a bit about Flash.

The zip contains the latest incarnation, with 2 FLAs; a dark theme(original) and a lighter theme that someone requested but I never published. The release notes contain more info on quirks/bugs. Keep me posted on any enhancements you might make.

ZIP: sycons_src.zip

Enjoy and have a nice day. :D

Sorry, my english is not good...

Very cool logon!
BUT: When I enter wrong password, my computer is blocked. Ctrl+Alt+Del and other key combinations don't working. Only button "reset" will help.

How can I reenter password without restarting my computer?
