FYI: TUE 10 DEC: ESR 24.2 release, EOL ESR 17.x
As an FYI, Firefox ESR 24.2 is scheduled for release next week, TUE 10 DEC 2013. https://mail.mozilla.org/pipermail/enterprise/2013-December/003923.html I don't know if there will be a mainline release happening, too, but I would guess yes. The ESR 17.x branch is end-of-life, so there will not be an...

Re: Firefox 16.0.1 and ADMX-GPO
The site can use an update, the site has looked the same since 2007! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I've got some knowledge of HTML and CSS. I'm not much at coming up with cool new design/layout, but I can modify existing stuff easily, and I'm good at organizing information for p...

We also tried using batch file to deploy the .msi as an alternate option, however it also fails. batch file: =================================================================== msiexec /i \\server.local\path\Software\Firefox\20.0.\FMFirefoxCE-20.0.-en ===============================================...

Re: How to add add-ons into Installation File
I have just downloaded the FF 21 msi and was wondering if it possible to integrate 2 add-ons into the installation file for mass-distribution, one is https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/noscript/ and https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/mozrepl/ . FrontMotion offers a service, their ...

Re: Firefox 16.0.1 and ADMX-GPO
If you dig a little bit deeper, I think it's fair to say that the FrontMotion website is not conducive to gaining a quick understanding (i.e. for new users) of the difference between Firefox MSI and the CE version of FrontMotion... I'd say that's a fair criticism. I'd be happy to do some re-arrangi...

Re: User settings idea
I have been thinking about the problem where some people want to deploy user settings on top of computer settings. The issue in the past that made it a show stopper is which one takes precedence. Would Group Policy loopback processing provide enough flexibility to bypass the problem? Make user sett...

Re: FF-CE 19.0.2 wont deploy via GPO
I have been using the FF-CE version for deployment via GPO. now the 19.0.2 version will not deploy. I had been just changing the software package in the GPO and the new version would deploy. Any issues with 19.0.2??? Please explain "will not deploy". Do you get an error message? If so, when -- when...

Re: Firefox 17.0, ESR 10.0.11, ESR 17.0.0 released 2012NOV20
You can skip 17.0.0, Firefox 17.0.1 has been released already. And a 17.0.1esr to go with it. It's reportedly not security-relevant. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=814554 http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2621009 (or so claims the Mozilla enterprise list).
