Is there anything else I can check for you or more info I can send? We have a new batch of GX520's with Pentium D in and FrontMotion doesn't work on them either.

Blue Screen crash on Pentium D's

We use lots of Dell Pentium 4's with FrontMotion. We have now moved to Pentium D's (in particular Optiplex GX520) with dual core. When we log off an account, the FrontMotion screen appears displaying message that is is logging off and then the machine crashes and reboots. We have tested with all the...

Thanks for checking it out. We have been doing more testing and found that this only happens on workstations at schools where they haven't installed XP SP2 yet. We have tested with SP1 and have the problem as soon as we install FrontMotion. But once we install SP2 we are ok. So we just have to push ...

No it was not a problem on the previous version. I have reinstalled the previous version to verify that is it is something new.

Problem with deleting roaming profiles with V1.1.5.293

Since we upgraded to FrontMotion 1.1.5.293, we are having problems with profiles. We use roaming profiles on W2003 Server/XP Pro clients. When a user logs onto the workstation, their profile is copied from the server and a local cached copy created - ok. When they log off, the profile is copied back...

Using keyboard down-arrow on drop-down

We have based our logon on the Bubbles example. When we tab, it takes us from one field to the next which is good. When we get to the Domain name, we want to use the down arrow to open the dropdown like it does in Windows. We have some users who are die-hard keyboard users and when switching from do...

well... in this particular case I'll have it admit it was our own fault. These two accounts are created during our server build process which is automated using a vb script. The script was just populating the field wrong but was never noticed as it didn't cause a problem until we put Front Mot...

Just a follow-on. Actually our UserPrincipalname was incorrect - it was missing the @<fqdn> on the end. So although you could logon to the workstation and it seemed you were logging onto the domain, all was not right. So either removing it all together or adding the @<fqdn> both fix the problem for ...

GPOs not running - "The user does not have RSOP data&qu

We have Windows2003 Server SP1 with XP Pro SP1 workstations.... We had the problem that with two of our users, when FrontMotion was installed, no GPOs were applied when they logged on. If you tried a "gpresult", you got the above error message. This was only happening for two of our users ...

We don't do that but easily could. For example, I work with school LANS and in our AD we have the following structure: School (OU) -----SchoolUsers (OU) ------------SchoolLearners (OU) ------------SchoolStaff (OU) ------------SchoolTeachers (OU) When users are created, they are put in the appropriat...

We have a Group Policy that is linked to the OU where all our users reside. The Group Policy sets User Configuration-Windows Settings - Scripts - Logon to our .vbs logon script.

Autologon problem -need to interrupt

We have just starting rolling out FrontMotion in our county and have installed in 135 schools so far. We are very happy with it but have a problem with autologon in the nursery schools. On the school LAN (w2003 server with xp clients), we use a GPO with a custom ADM to set the defaultusername and de...
