Flash 19.0.0.185 freezes Firefox 40?
Anybody else having issues with Flash 19.0.0.185 freezing Frontmotion Firefox 40.0? This is happening on our 10 computers. After a minute or two, Firefox recovers and Flash works OK.

I followed abaldauf's directions to install Frontmotion Firefox 3.6.15 via GPO without making it the default browser. The installation fails, the event log shows event id 10005, and says the reason is "The error code is 2709. The arguments are: C_SetDefaultBrowser."

I eagerly followed Icy's directions, and sadly it didn't work for me. IE still lost its default browser setting. I had 3.5.2 installed through GPO, then added 3.5.5 first as an upgrade, then when that didn't work, redid the process, setting 3.5.2 to uninstall before installing 3.5.5. Still no dice, ...

I'd like to chime in as having this problem as well. The install level is set to 3, the entry in the prefs.js file is set to false, yet FF insists on becoming the default browser after installation by GPO. In my case this involves only 8 pcs in a student computer lab, and I have to go to each pc and...
