Re: Enable Bookmarks toolbar and add bookmarks?
I need to double check at work - wont be for a while but try
/* Multi-row bookmarks toolbar */
#bookmarks-ptf {display:block}
#bookmarks-ptf toolbarseparator { display:inline }
in userChrome.css in defaults/profile/Chrome - follow the instructions in the pref file.

Re: Cache Size and Firefox 4.0 and 5.0
Yes, profile size has increased on the servers - DRAMATICALLY - and log on times also up. It needs sorting. I am looking at rolling back to 3.6 if there isn't a fix soon.

Has anyone tried this or extracting the install of Firefox and hacking the code?

Customising FF CE install - what do you do?
Hi - when deploying FFCE what do you do to customise the install. ie. we use msiexec /a and unpackage the files and edit some of the files. This is what we do: - edit the default homepage and updates page - edit the bookmarks.html file to include some local websites I'd like to switch bookmarks on a...

Re: Enable Bookmarks toolbar and add bookmarks?
You can do a msiexec /a and unpackage the MSI and edit bookmarks.html - but there is a method of changing the settings so it appears on the screen and isn't just hidden away.
I forget that. As FF keep on doing so many updates it is easy to schedule in an update if necessary.

Re: Firefox 5.0
Hi It is the issue of Flash security that is the problem. The MSI's do work now and properly. Adobe is having so many security issues that I am even considering removing Acrobat Reader in favour of Foxit. However, I have to make Flash available. As some have said the order of MSI deployment is an is...

Re: Firefox 5.0
Hi I'd rather deploy Flash via MSI and just Firefox via MSI as individual packages as it means if I upgrade Firefox it doesn't interfere with Flash (as it has done). It would be simpler for people to just apply to Adobe to redistribute Flash MSI and then they can deal with IE and Firefox at the same...

Re: Firefox 3.6.11
Hi Given http://www.sophos.com/blogs/gc/g/2010/10/27/firefox-hit-critical-zeroday-vulnerability/ that Firefox has been hit by a critical zero-day vulnerability we will all need to secure our networks ASAP. I think we need to wait for a bug fix before going with 3.6.11 = I reckon 3.6.12 will be out s...
