Block FFCE access to local drives
This question was asked quite a few years ago and I haven't had much luck other than a few random extensions. Due to PCI restrictions, we need to block user access to browse to c: (hard drive) in FF in the address bar. Anyone have any ideas how to do that successfully? This needs to be an enterprise...

Re: Corporate IT says FrontMotion not supported
I'm an IT analyst and we've gone through the alternate browser argument and actually settled on FrontMotion because it was easier to harden than the standard Mozilla install. Amen on the undocumented source code. Chrome has been known to be notoriously slow, buggy even on the first "stable" releases...

Deploying FM FF with add-ons
Is there a way to deploy FMFF CE with add-ons/extensions during the msi install using a script of some type? We currently use firefox.adm and mozilla.adm to lock down the users' ability to install add-ons but we need to be able to install them. Also, is there a way to install just extensions separat...

Re: All Addons disabled
I have the same issue as well with version 12. Is there a setting in the .adm file we can use to override this?

Re: Proxy Settings - Firefox.adm
You need to use the Mozilla.adm file instead.
Mozilla Advance Options/Locked Settings/network.proxy.type
Change it to "5" (no quotes)

Re: Do not make Firefox default browser during installation
I have given up and simply set Firefox and IE not to check if they're the default browser on startup. Works good enough for us here. We did the same thing. I set a registry key in my GPO that changes IE to be the default browser and sets FF to not check if it's the default browser, in essence, sett...

Re: [server 2003] How to lock settings option by GPO
What you need to do is browse http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config_entries#Accessibility and figure out what settings you want to change. For example, if you want to set the browser startup home page not to change when you upgrade Firefox, you can set browser.startup.homepage to whaterver URL you ...

Re: After upgraded to FF 3.6 - tab "updates"options - grayed out
Have you tried setting the Automatic update/Add-on settings in firefox.adm or mozilla.adm and adding those Administrative Templates via GPO? Both templates are available where you download the FrontMotion Community Edition.
