Disable the What's New Page
Is there a setting that we can use to block the loading of the "What's New" page whenever a new version of Firefox (FrontMotion Community Edition) is deployed to our users?

Re: 6.3.20 is out
The page is not yet updated, but I just took a guess and was able to download the CE package from http://hicap.frontmotion.com/Firefox/FM ... -en-US.msi.

Re: 5.0 MSI (not community) showing as Minefield
I'm testing a deployment of 5.0.1, and the Help > About screen reports that we are on the Nightly release. Is this just an identity issue, or was the Nightly release of 5.0.1 used in the CE build? I don't recall any of the 3.x.x releases having disparate "About" screens.

Re: How to change icon of FrontMotion Firefox Community Edit
I could be wrong, but I suspect that the Mozilla license, although open, does not allow 3rd party distributions to use the same icon as the Mozilla release. That would make it hard for people to distinguish the brand of release, and Mozilla may not want to be associated with every single 3rd party r...

Re: 3.6.12 is out
Hmmm, just checked our notes, and it appears I misspoke. We don't drop the row. We change the "Level" column from "3" to "6". Our install level for this package is never higher than 5, so the feature doesn't get installed. I'm guessing removing it completely still leaves something else trying to re...

Re: firefox 3 vs. group policy
The standard Mozilla release of Firefox 3 does not support deployment and administration through group policy. You would have to use FrontMotion's MSI and ADM templates to do so.Rooper3546 wrote:Does Firefox 3 support deployment and administration through group policy?
