Re: FrontMotion MSIs NOT obsolete
As for MSIs, yes, but there is an enterprise (ESR) version directly from Mozilla with current policies, also. And there is no lag time with updates. If you can deploy EXE, that's the better option, IMHO. I used FMF for many years and still recommend for MSIs.

Firefox ESR 52.2.5.0
This was released on November 14. Any ideas of how long until it's converted to CE?

Re: Default app method and Windows10
We basically use this method. We don't set Firefox as default browser, but might point you in right direction. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/export-or-import-default-application-associations We do set Adobe Reader and Chrome as default using this method, so su...

Re: Corporate IT says FrontMotion not supported
While I think it's great that they're trying. I just don't see it helping gain anything at this point. Too many people have moved onto Chrome or just stick with IE due to ease of using GPO. I know that I am one of the few at work that use Firefox and I'm the IT guy. I've gotten SSL certs to work usi...

Re: First Time User and Deploy
They have a Firefox Packager for purchase to customize packages for Firefox. That's one way they make money. You have to wait for new version to push out each time for updates. Not sure on the manual, or wiki. There is also a FirefoxADM for doing homepage, proxy, etc.. Not sure about he import messa...

Re: GPO Settings in User Settings possible?
Question for this. Does the Firefox.ADM still work? I didn't see it with the rest of them, so curious. Or where would I set proxy, homepage, etc.?

Re: Disabling / Restricting Flash Plugin using GPO Template
Not a solution, but Flash was updated to block the Hacking Team exploits, so updating that would be the first step.

Re: Certificate added - how to activate addon automatically?
Here is how I accomplished adding certificates to Firefox: These steps will deploy the certificate for new Firefox users only. If a user already has a Firefox profile they will not get the cert8.db -Added Certificates to the default cert8.db -Created an admin install point of the Firefox MSI -Copie...

Re: Win7 and proxy settings GPO
I haven't tried setting that on Win7, yet, but have you tried using the ADMX file? Or use Group Policy Managment on a Win7 machine? You need to install the Resource Kit I believe to get that on Win7. I know there are Group Policy Preference also that were introduced in 2008. Your domain functional l...
