In firefox check about:config and see if your settings are there. If they aren't, then the settings have not been applied.

Re: In need of 31.8 ESR MSI
38.2.0 is about ready. I can still do a 31.8 ESR if you really need it though.
Thanks for the concern! I was really busy with a lot of things this past month.

Re: GPO Settings in User Settings possible?
It was decided early on to remove the user section because the settings there would only affect new profiles which made them pretty useless.

Re: Set all Extensions enabled
Just to note that setting default profile won't work for existing users. Settings things in Firefox Packager V2 -> CFG Addition tab is the right way, the problem is finding the right setting because it seems to be plug-in dependent.

Re: Firefox 36.0.1 MSI
Yeah and the same with the ESR also. I prioritize the ESR version because that's what most people deploy. 36.x version coming soon though. Thanks for waiting!

Re: unable to deploy msi package on XP machine
On the computers where it installs but crashes, you should do a virus/malware scan on them. The combination of 5.1.2600.6532 and fault address 0x00012fd3 seems to indicate some other software on the computer is using up all the resources. For Windows XP, can you check the version of Windows Installer?

Re: Hosting an update server
You should really use Active Directory for the updates. Btw, the updates are disabled on all installs from us.
