Re: Firefox 17.0, ESR 10.0.11, ESR 17.0.0 released 2012NOV20
Oh, and this is the first ESR release to contain the Mozilla Maintenance Service. Managed deployments may want to disable that.

Firefox 17.0, ESR 10.0.11, ESR 17.0.0 released 2012NOV20
Mozilla has released Firefox 17.0, ESR 10.0.11, and ESR 17.0.0 (new ESR line). Release date TUE 20 NOV 2012. This release fixes several security exposures, some rated "Critical", but once again is supposedly "not exploit-driven". Curiously, 16.0.2 -> 17.0 lists more advisories than 10.0.10 -> 10.0.1...

Ohhhhhhh.DraconPern wrote:The fix was only for FMFirefoxCEESR-10.0.10 and no other versions. You are looking at the FirefoxESR downloads which didn't have any issues.
Thanks for clarifying.

Re: AccessibleMarshal.dll failed to register - FMFFCEESR-10.
Packages fixed. Thank you! Are the file names the same? If not, the download page doesn't appear to have been updated. If the file names are the same, the file on the hicap server doesn't appear to have updated. Last modified date from two days ago, same size in bytes. $ HEAD http://hicap.frontmoti...

Re: instructions
Is there a read or link that explains which MSI to download? A little confusing. The Firefox MSI is simply a standard Firefox build, packaged as an MSI. The resulting install should be identical to an official Mozilla build, for practical purposes. FrontMotion Firefox Community Edition is Firefox w...

Re: orca and configuring homepage setting
I don't believe this can be done by modifying any MSI tables.superhl wrote:Where in orca do I change the default homepage?
You would need to add a custom config file to the Firefox installation.

I kind of suspect that's the plan all the time.vtkn wrote:Can you please make sure the default browser and locked settings/mozilla cfg file creation are working when packaging this version?

Re: Firefox corporate rollout
Does anyone have experience rolling out a customised version of Firefox via group policy? Yes. I do. We also need some kind of mechanism to lock down what websites are visited. I am thinking we need to create an admin install with Easy Whitelist installed and pre-configured. We control website acce...

Re: Firefox 16.0.1 and ADMX-GPO
the file I download was Firefox-16.0.1-en-US.msi That's the standard Firefox, without GPO settings functionality (ADM/ADMX). I came from another page that said to go here to download a GPO version http://www.frontmotion.com/Firefox/download_firefox.htm That version is a standard Firefox, packaged a...

Re: Firefox 16.0.1 and ADMX-GPO
Are you sure about this? On the MSI page is also the admx's and adms. Sure as I can be without examining the code. Are you sure you're looking at the right product? Be aware that the two sets of pages link to each other. It states right on the Features of Firefox MSI page: If you need Administrativ...

Re: Firefox 16.0.1 and ADMX-GPO
You don't need the plugin, but you do need the Community edition. I am using the frontmotion MSI. Until I install this add-on gpo the setting do not populate into frontmotion firefox The Firefox MSI from FrontMotion does not have any built-in GPO support. This is just a standard Firefox, repackaged...
