Re: Firefox 3.5
I'm also curious about FireFox 3.5, as the release version is suppose to be out on Tuesday (6/30) and whether you're going to create an MSI version of it shortly after it's release?

Re: Do not make Firefox default browser during installation
I thought I'd just share my quick fix to this problem until a solution is provided. I run the installation as always, knowing that my registry will be a mess afterwards. After this I run the following: c:\windows\system32\shmgrate.exe OCInstallReinstallIE IE is set as the default browser, and my pr...

Re: set default application for PDF view
I'm having the same issue as well with PDF files and the last couple of versions of FireFox. It is easily fixed by going in and correcting the setting in Tools-Options and Applications. Not sure when when updating to a new version this is happening, but it is a bit of an annoyance.

Re: 3.0.9 is fairly ready
Is there some place where all of these steps are documented? I see bits and pieces on what people are doing relating to the default browser, but not a clear set of instructions. For me I just use the standard MSI file. I've tried it many different ways, but generally it still always changes the defa...

Re: 3.0.9 is fairly ready
I'm having the same problem. I've changed the firefox.js file and still it installs as the default. Is there anyway in future version to keep if from changing the default browser. We have some web apps that won't work in FireFox. So some users like to keep IE as their default. So we allow them to de...

FireFox MSI 3.0.3 changing default browser
I'm having an issue with your latest MSI installer for FireFox 3.0.3 changing the default browser to FireFox. I want it not to affect the default browser at all and leave at what the user sets it at. Is there a switch I can use to prevent this from happening in the future? thanks...

Re: Firefox 3.0.2 is available
I was reading on SANS.org that there will be another Firefox release possibly as early as today to fix an issue with saved passwords where the website, username, or password has international characters in it. So you might want to hold off creating a 3.0.2 because there will be a 3.0.3 released pret...
