Customising FF CE install - what do you do?

Hi - when deploying FFCE what do you do to customise the install. ie. we use msiexec /a and unpackage the files and edit some of the files.

This is what we do:

- edit the default homepage and updates page
- edit the bookmarks.html file to include some local websites

I'd like to switch bookmarks on and stop FF from importing IE bookmarks.

What do you do? Would be great to share tips.

We are currently testing FF-CE 5.0 with xpinstall.whitelist GPO applied as we want to stop people from installing add-ons which may lead to information disclosure like proxy add-ons. But as we do need some add-ons we have to make sure people only install trusted add-ons from our own add-on server. But the settings seem not to apply and it is still possible to install from addons.mozilla.net.
