Prompt User Before Downloading Certain File Types

Post by DelayedSyn » Tue Nov 15, 2011 2:23 pm

Hello All :) My issue is NOT specific to FirefoxCE; I have the same problem in the version from Mozilla's site. I tried using the Google machine to the best of my ability and came up empty; was hoping someone else had encountered the same thing.

I have to lock down Firefox so that files with particular extensions use an external application to open as opposed to Firefox using a plugin or add-on to open them. I have to set this on multiple machines, but when I try to edit the Group Policy for Firefox Settings, I can't find the key that EVERYONE is referencing to change: plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types

If anyone has come across this and found a solution/workaround, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks :) Johnny
