Disable Add-on screen not working

Post by srechtman » Tue Mar 06, 2012 10:35 am

I have deployed FMFirefoxCE-10.0.2-en-US.msi and everything seems to be working except I'm getting the first run prompts asking to disable selected addons. I do not want this showing up at all.

I have set this in my mozilla.admx

"extensions.autoDisableScopes" --> I set this to "0"
"extensions.shownSelectionUI" --> I set this to "enabled"

Am I doing something wrong or are these settings broken?

Thanks!

I upgraded from 9.01CE if that helps at all.

I also didn't update these policies until after I had already upgraded. Could that be the problem?

I had the same issue. I'm not sure what it is. It worked for 9.0.1 but when I upgraded to 10 I got the prompt to disable addons. I tried looking to see if anything changed in about:config but found nothing.

Yea it's really weird. I would really like this feature to work in my environment. Has anyone else seen this problem or know about a fix?

Thanks!
