Names and Icons

Soo... I have gotten quite a few questions on names and Icons of firefox. For the legal savvy, you already know that using the official names and icons on the custom build is not allowed.

If the packager has the ability to allow you to enter whatever name and logo you want (for the desktop icon & start menu item), will it be useful?

It would definitely be useful. I am just starting to implement Front Motion Firefox into my organization and I am sure the current icons and names with confuse some of my staff.

I too might find the feature useful. Users probably are confused with the naming already: first it was Mozilla Firefox, then FM Firefox. I guess I can't name it anything else but Mozilla Firefox despite of the legal stuff.

Instead of using the UI interface to modify these icons or names, why not use a MST file to customize them? (MST generated by orca)

The packager does support changing the name and icon now. The package just can't be redistributed outside of your organization.

Sorry, i don't understand.
I have just downloaded the MSI-package from your site und distributed with GPO. But how and where can i changed the icon and the name, now?

The name and icon can be changed via the FirefoxPackager. Or as other has suggested, use a MST file.
