Lost Plugins after gpo update

Using Group Policy I add the new release and instruct the policy to update the previous version. But when Firefox is updated on the client all of the previous plugins are missing.

Obviously I’m doing something wrong. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

My process is: Create a GPO to install and configure Firefox CE; Install a lot of plugins (flash, ebrary, shockwave, ect).
Then I modify the GPO to update the current version of Firefox CE with the new one. And when the client gets the new version all of the plugins are gone.

I think I know what’s happening; when I publish the new version the old one is uninstalled removing all of the plugins, then the new version is installed clean.
Can anyone give me a clue? ...thanks
