Where Can I lock down the options on firefox in mozilla.adm. I have IE locked down in the sense that students cannot change internet options (proxy settings etc). Can I achieve this via mozilla.adm

You sure can. You can also use firefox.adm which has some common options.

Please excuse my ignorance.

needle and haystack comes to mind, where Can I lock down access to the tools menu. I have seen the settings in the Firefox.adm to set homepage, proxy server but nothing about locking down. There are a load of options on mozilla.adm but I don't know where to start.

Also, does mozilla.adm only load into the 'computer configuration' and not the 'user configuration'

thanks

The best place for documentation on what the settings do in mozilla.adm is http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQ ... ig_Entries
You can just search the page for the settings you like to lockdown and set them in a GPO. You are correct that the policy is only per computer. If it was per user, the user can override the settings with sufficient registry knowledge.
