Firefox 3.0.6 fixes several issues found in Firefox 3.0.5:
* Fixed several security issues.
* Fixed several stability issues.
* In previous versions of Firefox, some users experienced a problem where parts of the screen were not properly displaying after Firefox was open for long periods of time.
* Improved the ability for scripted commands (including those included in popular extensions like Adblock Plus) to work properly with plugins. (bug 438830)
* Removed the client user ID from crash reports.
* Fixed issues with the display of some Indic scripts.
* See the Firefox 3.0.5 release notes for changes in previous releases.

An ETA for the CE version would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you just want a .msi to deploy Firefox 3.0.6 (or any other minor version, current and future) you can get it here. It does not have the ADM components included.

For some reason I can't get FireFox to be the default browser in Windows XP SP3. Never had this problem before. Can someone check into this?

Thank you, DraconPern, once again. Seems to work fine, except for that default browser issue (probably the same everyone has, I described it in this topic: http://forums.frontmotion.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=623).

I solved my default browser issue through the suggestion in another thread from today. When you deploy it use the following command line string:

msiexec.exe /qn /i "FMFirefoxCE-3.0.6-en-US.msi" INSTALLLEVEL=5

That did it for me.

That would probably make Firefox the default browser automatically. I'm using INSTALLLEVEL=3, since I want the users have the choice. It used to work.

"Pesky" barely scratches the surface. I'm stuck at an increasingly old version of Firefox until we can get this resolved because it thoroughly irritates my users to have to revisit this issue at every rollout of a new patch.

We're waiting patiently, DraconPern, and we're pulling for ya! (please hurry - :lol: - hehe)
