Firefox.adm not working

I am using Firefox-3.5.7-en-GB msi from the Frontmotion web site deployed via group policy which installs ok. I have added the firefox.adm from the Frontmotion site and have a firefox settings gpo that is in the same ou as the software deployment ou for all computers on the domain. I have tried entering the settings for Home Page, Proxy Settings & Disable firefox default browser check in Computer Configuration & User Configuration.
I also after making these settings i run gpupdate /force and restart the computers all twice. When logging on as any user on the domain, the settings are not applied to the Firefox installed.
Any ideas on what is wrong because I have none?
