Firefox 3.6.6 released; 3.6.7 coming soon (maybe 20 July)

Firefox 3.6.6 was released Sat 26 July 2010.
The sole documented change is to the OOPP (out-of-process plugin) hang-detection timeout. If a plugin (like Flash) is non-responsive for long enough, Firefox assumes the plugin is hung and kills it. In 3.6.4, this was 10 seconds; in 3.6.6 that is changed to 30 seconds. Apparently some popular Flash apps (such as Hulu, and Facebook's Farmville) can get really backed up during init, and this was triggering premature plugin kills. (Bug #574905)
The security vulnerability I mentioned in the 3.6.4 thread is now planned to be fixed in 3.6.7, currently scheduled for release on 20 July 2010. (Bug #556957, Comment 52)
