Suspicious scripting activity found in file mshta.exe

Post by silver9990 » Tue Apr 26, 2005 10:56 pm

First off i am running Windows XP Home Edition. When I click on change the way users log on or off my virus scanner brings up a box saying "The file mshta.exe contains suspicious activity and has been stopped". This only started after installing the program. Is it just something that the program does and I don't have to worry about or what? A screenshot can be seen here: http://www.angelfire.com/ns2/golden91/i ... MLogin.gif.

Weird, on XP Pro those two options are disabled by MS automatically. FMLogin doesn't change any Windows files. You should scan mshta.exe just to be sure.

The scan didn't find anything but it still pops up when I click on the link.
