When loggin on to a Windows NT 4.0 domain the script does not run.

Thanks for the bug report! Is it possible for you to send the log file located at c:\fmlogin.txt via email? It would be great if you can compress it too. Please send it to eric@frontmotion.com .

Alternatively, you can search the file for "WlxActivateUserShell" (not "FMWlxActivateUserShell") and list the two parameters. I am hoping the name of your script will be located there. If not, let me know if your script name shows up anywhere in the log file at all. Thanks.

Yep, but usually not the full path is not included just the name of the script in the \\DOMAINSERVER\NETLOGON shared directory.

hi all,

client: win2k sp4
server: nt4

also get the login script failure
[running kixtart as part of the login script, started from 'logon.bat']

get error message about not finding script.

as per your previous instructions, tried to find c:\fmlogin.txt, referred to as being the log file.
I can't find it anywhere on my machine [yes i'm searching all hidden and system files also.]
What am I doing wrong?

pardon my vagueness before...

the error message [from kixtart]

kixtart: failed to find/open script.

and when i disable fmlogin, all's well.

your feedback as per previous posting appreciated.
[i just loooove that flash login :wink: ]
