Fast User Switching in trusted domains

Post by FUSwitching » Wed Sep 29, 2004 3:17 am

I've been trying FrontMotion for several versions until the last version 1.1.0.27 (20-09-2004) and found a new bug in that last release.

When using Fast User Switching in a domain with a trust relationship with another domain, the "switch user" screen used to show both domains (the local and the trusted one) and the local machine in the domain listbox.
But now, for some reason, the domain listbox shows only local machine and local domain. It seams it's just the number of lines in the listbox that's not correctly set ... but I may be wrong.

It would be worth investigating this problem, since it's a nice feature of FrontMotion that can make it useful in corporate environments ...

Hum... This apparently was caused by code changes for latops on domains. Next desktop release should have the problem fixed.

Dracon, I have v1.1.1.52.
I have 3 trusted domains, but I can choose ONLY local computer! No domains are listed in combobox... :(
I can logon onto domain only when combobox has my main domain as default.

Sherry, I am trying to reproduce the problem. Is your computer happen to be getting it's ip address via dhcp?

The same problem but firewall is a software.
Can login on the local host only.
Using DHCP server.
Domain is local (don`t have Iternet registration)
Internet connection by dial-up.
Do want this bug be fixed

Just want to make a note if you are watching this thread. The new version should have fixed the problem.
