Dear FML crew !

Thank you very much for your work, the FML !

I am really impressed by http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/50386064/

I have looked through all the topics and have not found answer to my question:

========================

Is it possible to login on system's start AUTOMATICALLY, without having to every time enter password or click Ok ?

========================

If you could answer this question, I would be happy, as well as a few other users will be.

Thank you very much. :roll:

It's actually possible already, however, right now the control panel application doesn't expose the UI for it.

:roll: I am sorry for my low level of literacy for Front Motion, but I would ask for steps to take in order to set the program's options to be able to to login on system's start automatically without having to press "Enter" or click "Ok". My system's account is without password.

I am sorry again and I am waiting for reply.

Thank you. :roll:

Hi, is someone able to send me some suggestions?

On one WIN XP SP2 system the Windows automaticly logon (set some command within the registry) is working well with FMLogin. On another WIN XPSP2 station is doens't work with FMLogin but it works when MSGINA.dll is active.

All help/suggestions are highly appreciated - THNX in advance - JWO

You should download TweakUI from Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/down ... rtoys.mspx

After installing it, you can run the program (Start -> Powertoys for Windows XP -> Tweak UI). Then go to the Logon -> Autologon and set your username and password there.

Hi,

Thank you for your advise/suggestion. I am sorry but even when I install TweakUI and set my username + password the XP + SP2 system (FMLogin.ddl) is asking me for my password.

Do you have any idea what might be wrong?

I appreciate your help in this matter - Jan-Willem

:roll: Hi Front Motion Lead Developer, hi users !

I would like to thank all for taking the effort to reply.

I still suggest that user should be able to login automatically on system start in case user account password is turned off.

In addition, to extend the idea, it would be great to optionally set the amount of time for the Front Motion Login screen to stay on system start. A nice login screen could stay for a while when the startup programs and services load in, and often to hide the ugly undrawn on startup taskbar.

So, enable automatic login, please. Looking forward,

thank you. 8)
