FireFox 3.6
Firefox 3.6 is to be released tomorrow. Are you planning on supporting it? Also it looks as if 3.0.X support will be dropped by Mozilla, which should mean no more releases for that that version.

Re: FireFox 3.6
Hi
Sorry to be impatient - is there any news of this.
Could we have an updated Firefox.adm so the "theme" changes can be turned off? I know in the previous vote about the ability to turn off downloads it was a close run thing between the Yes/No camp - but I always think it's a mistake to say that you don't want the extra functionality. Firefox CE I've been promoting for schools in our local area because it's just so easy to roll out on a Windows network and secure down.
The more functionality in the basic Firefox adm file the better, especially if it is school related. There are those who will always oppose this, but in a school environment we have many constraints that we have to follow.

Any Estimate on when the new version will be ready ??
Re: FireFox 3.6
Yup, I want to know any schedule for release? So, I don't have to come back and check often.
Re: FireFox 3.6
Just to add my two pence into this - I'd also like to know when we can expect the 3.6 release.

I guess DraconPern is busy, I'm sure he has a life as well
I'm curious though, why would you run Firefox in a school, rather than IE that has a more vast array of options to control via GPO?

Re: FireFox 3.6
Without getting into an argument about it, Firefox is usually more secure than IE. Plus not everyone wants to use IE

I have been running FrontMotion Firefox at a high school for about five years now. While IE has tons of lock down options I find it way too tide in to the OS's security. Plus Firefox renders pages faster and offers great amount of extensions if you want to allow them. Also, you have lots of control with the advanced Firefox adm.

Re: FireFox 3.6
And it is now Saturday. I don't mind waiting for the MSIs, I appreciate you guys making them, but could you share some info on its status so we know whether they are being actively worked on or whether we should find another solution for deployment. Is there a status update?
Re: FireFox 3.6
It seems like FF3.6 is not ready yet. Are there any delay schedule or status. I wish there is a notify system for new update.
